Dear Supporters and Friends,We are pushing very hard to deliver the SBrick on time. We have made several decisions which will have a positive effect on the quality and use of the product, but at the same time these have delayed production by a few days.Here’s the heads up:1) The tooling for the electrical connectors have been produced; the first couple of batches look perfect!2) The moulds for the outside shell of the brick have been produced. Now we need to fine tune some things before we are ready for production this week.3) The first 5000 units of the Bluetooth chip have been produced with our custom firmware and are being shipped from a production facility in Finland to our supplier in Austria. These will cover all those who backed SBrick on Kickstarter, as well as those who have made preorders.We are confident that we will shortly be able to assemble your bricks and start shipping in November.The IOS app beta is already available in the App Store and is called SBrick; The Android app beta will be out in November, with Windows following hard on their heels in December.We are hard at work on the app as well as the profile designer service, and will put on another update within the next two weeks.Thanks again for your support!

Dear SBrick supporters and fans,As you already know, our plan was to start our production line for the SBrick this week. We received the second injection moulded plastic housing for the brick at the beginning of the week - this is after we sent the first version back to the factory with a few corrections. Unfortunately, we have found some small niggles in this second version as well.We have shot a short video where we go through the SBrick housing in its present form so you can see just what we found. We recommend using a desktop browser so the onscreen comments are visible during the video.It will take a few more days for the factory to fix the small issues we found, and as we are unwilling to compromise on the quality of the SBrick, this means that production will be delayed by about a week.On the plus side, all of the components that will go into the housing itself have been checked thoroughly and they are perfect!We will post another update once we receive the third version of the SBrick injection moulded case.Thank you for your continued understanding,SBrick team
Dear SBrick supporters and fans,In order to ensure that we can starting shipping the SBrick as soon as possible we have already started up our production line. Everything is ready to go except the plastic housing, where we are still waiting to have the final version in our hands.We have been promised that the injection moulded casing will be ready this week - this will depend on whether we get the finalized casings in time and, most importantly, that they meet our expectations. If this works out we will start shipping SBricks on 16 December.Unfortunately what this also means is that not everyone will get their SBrick(s) in time for Christmas, which is a situation we regret. As we’ve mentioned before, quality is most important to us: we must ensure that the SBrick you get is the best SBrick we can make and will accept nothing less. At the same time we’re sorry that our shipping timetable has slipped into the danger zone approaching Christmas.We are doing everything to get your SBrick(s) to you as soon as possible. Dear Sbrick supporters and fans,We have great news! After going back and forth with the factory regarding the injection moulded plastic housing for the SBrick, we received the 4th version today. And it's PERFECT!What this means is that our production timetable remains the same as we mentioned in our previous updates.We are going to spend the rest of the weekend putting together SBricks and packaging them ready for Monday, when the very first SBricks will be sent out!We're really excited about our finished product and can't wait for you all to receive your SBrick(s)!Thank you again for your patience,SBrick team
