A comment from Pierre, one of the designers:
This new train box is like a Creator set in the train
theme. Althought the instructions provided with the set allows you to build
only one model at a time, none of those 30 models are using all the parts in
the box and you still can build at least 1 and often 2 more cars (wagon)
with the remaining parts. Actually, 2 out of the 3 models I've made for
this box can be built simultaneously (an engine and a wagon) and there's
still 2 wagon plates left and enough wheels and parts to build something
else.
The point is that when you buy this set, you don't buy only 1 engine or
wagon, but a 1080 parts set to build whatever you want with them. We (the
10 designers) have chosen what we believed to be the best 30 models we built
with these parts and we produced instructions to build them. In the design
process we we able to build around 80 different models, so believe me when I
say that this set 10183 is not about building just 1 wagon at a time. :-)
