The Comunidade 0937 (0937 Community) appeared naturally after a group of people who reunited arround Fórum 0937. It's characterized by an informal environment and centered in activities directly related with LEGO.

Fórum 0937 appeared in the middle of August 2006 in a combined effort by Tânia Baixinho, Pedro Silva and Luís Baixinho. In October of the same year Wiki 0937 was created, which may have been the first evidence of a combined effort made by the members of the forum. At the end of November, a lunch organized by Nine may be considered as the Comunidade 0937's start point.

In January 2007 another fuctionalitty is added to the Community, the Mapa 0937 (0937 Map) where the location of some members is shown. In March was organized the Community's first public event, the "Coimbra 0937 no Coimbra Shopping ("Coimbra 0937 at Coimbra Shopping"). This event was organized by Pedro Agnelo and had some media coverage (namelly television and newspapers). In June another public event is organized, this time in Norteshopping, by Pedro Agnelo and Tânia Baixinho. In that same month, BrickJournal no.8 is published with a two page article about the Community.

In June 2009 the 1st TOMARLEGO took place, a national exhibition of LEGO creations with a public and periodic nature. The event had strong support from Tomar'as inhabitants and atractd to this magnificent city a wave of foreigners that could, in this way, celebrate Children's Day with a different activity. In exhibition, many of the member's creations, some vintage sets and also an activitie area for children.

In September 2008, Comunidade 0937 lauched itself in a new kind of activity, centered in the comunication between enthusiasts and direct estimulation to interaction and progression on techniques. The first Club Meeting was made - a semi-closed event, for specialists, witth support form LEGO itself. For a whole weekend there was a public exhibition of creations and there were team building contests, presentations of new products - one of them an European première, own creations and an auction.
