Anuncio-vos que a LEGO Dinamarca está a planear um evento LEGO World em Copenhaga, Dinamarca em 2008.
O evento ocorrerá em Copenhaga e as datas do evento são de 13 a 18 de Fevereiro. A montagem ocorrerá no dia 12 e a desmontagem será no 19.
O espaço dedicado ao evento será de aproximadamente 7000 m2 e a LEGO Dinamarca espera pelo menos 25000 visitantes.
Neste evento gostaríamos também de fazer uma exposição de MOCs de AFOLs e para isso precisamos de saber se estão interessados em participar com os vossos MOCs durante o evento todo ou só durante um certo período.
Estamos agora a tratar dos preparativos relativamente à vossa estadia e estamos também prontos para ajudar com necessidades especiais do transporte de MOCs.
Para a exposição dos MOCs garantimos as necessidades básicas como electricidade, barreiras, seguro, mesas e as outras coisas.
Para além da exposição dos MOCS, teremos eventos directamente ligados à construção, aos modelos, exibição de sets e outros assuntos relacionados com LEGO, uma grande loja e alguma música.

Dear all,

I would like to let you know that LEGO Denmark is planning on doing a LEGO World Event in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2008.
The event will take place in Copenhagen and the event dates are from the 13th of February until the 18th of February. Set up will take place on the 12th and take down will be on the 19th.
The whole event space will be around 7000 m2 and LEGO Denmark count with at least 25000 visitors.
We would like to do an AFOL MOC exhibition on this event and would like to ask you to let me know if you are interested in take part in the event the whole time or part time with your MOCs.
We are working at the moment on special accommodation arrangements and are also ready to help with special transportation needs.We will arrange the usual things you need in connection to display you models like fences, insurance, tables, power and other things.
Beside the AFOL exhibition we will have building events, model and set exhibitions other LEGO related things, a big shop and some music.

A iluminação estática é uma boa forma de melhorar a apresentação dos minifigs originais dando-lhes um pouco mais de detalhe. () Tudo começou com uma modificação do sabre de luz com bateria externa e a partir daí as capacidades técnicas foram crescendo, permitindo a adição de baterias internas substituíveis e interruptores.

Sempre com o objectivo de melhorar o produto final decidiu aprofundar os seus conhecimentos e após meses de planeamento e colaboração com outros artistas surge uma nova dimensão na iluminação decorativa de minifigs. Graças aos talentos de Mark Marquez (escultor de minifigs) e de Stuart Guarnieri (programação), nasce agora o primeiro minifig com efeitos de luz incorporados: o Cylon possui uma chamativa sequência de quatro luzes que lhe garantem grande destaque em qualquer display ou layout.

Static lighting has always been a great way to present minifigs with more detail than what is currently available off the shelf.  Through the years of my research, each new generation of LifeLites minifig from Brickmodder Labs has raised the bar in technological advances to the point where I thought there could be nothing better.  It started with a simple Light Saber mod with external battery box, and from there, expanded as my abilities grew to include such things as internal replaceable batteries and ON/OFF switches.  Always wanting more, I decided to start further research on improving my designs.
 
Months of planning and collaboration with two other talented LEGO artists have finally culminated into a new era in minifig lighting.  It is with great pleasure that I announce a brand new never before seen sample of things to come.  Thanks to Mark Marquez for his minifig sculpting talents and to Stuart Guarnieri for his uncanny programming skills, I now have reached the next level and present to you a minifig Cylon from Battlestar Galactica complete with onboard lighting effects.  This minifig has a circuit board of my own design with the smallest programmable integrated circuit (PIC) chip available.  Of course, the same features you’ve come to expect from me are still integrated, like an ON/OFF switch and replaceable battery.  What sets this creation apart from all others is now, instead of a static light for display, it has an attention getting sequence of four lights that move back and forth to give the minifig more “life”.  The LifeLites name came about from the words “lifelike” and “lights” based on what I try to portray with my lighted creations; to make them more lifelike with the addition of lights.
 
For those of you who have noticed the lack of updates on www.brickmodder.net, rest assured that I’ll be back on track with this new family of minifigs and I do take custom orders.  In the planning stages now are a completely new line of minifigs that will include this new dynamic lighting!
